About Me
- 6 co-ops across mech, elec, firmware
- I found my true passions lie within mechanical and electrical engineering
- 6 years of SolidWorks experience, and 4 years of Altium Designer experience
- never showed that I was unable to provide a working solution -> Shows my passion, reliability and learning capability. -> I didn’t know things
- outstanding track record delivering solutions under tight constraints; backed by testimonials
- I bring an immense amount of effort, above-and-beyond attention to detail
- I see any task as the ability to surpass expectations -> I never cop out on what needs to be done -> Robot manipulators and mobile robots course
- I value teamwork. Co-ops -> I developed relationships with coworkers I miss seeing everyday, and hope to do the same at mirsee. Love to form bonds with my teammates, and I want to contribute the a positive working environment
What Mirsee Robotics Does
- Build teleoperated humanoid robots that give skilled workers remote physical presence for industrial maintenance/operations via VR and plans with AI autonomy in the future
- 3 versions MH1,2,3 where MH3 is pushing into high-dexterity, using more joints, enabling redundancy for multiple joint solutions, to reach spaces with environmental constraints. -> it also is implementing AI control that is going to learn from teleop control
- Every subsystem is designed assembled in-house. The arms, the heads, the vision system, the mobile platform, system management controllers.
- DND award of 500,000 -> launched water treatment pilot for first nations communities. This is exactly how humanoids should be used now and in the future – to help people
Why Mirsee Robotics
- Encapsulates my degree and experience foundation
- I want a position that I can excel in from the beginning while advancing my skills long term -> with my years of Solidworks and Altium experience
- I’m genuinely am excited about what technology you are creating
- I want to work for a robotics company that creates novel, fast changing technology
- I am invested in the humanoid space, where I developed a robotic shoulder for my capstone project, and attended the automate 2025 show
- Humanoids are going to become a major industry, and I want to become an expert in a new evolving field.
- As a mechatronics engineer, mech, electrical, and software integration is the core of my happiness and I get satisfaction of solving difficult problems
- How you make a useful product from the start, and don’t stay in a constant development period of waiting for AI to get to a working point is the approach I like to see. A lot of companies in the space don’t release functional robots
- I really like to see how mirsee doesn’t conform to hype products
- legs -> Melonee Wise from agility -> power problems, safety issues -> develop a model that is useful first, then expand
- Everything designed and made in-house -> I love this -> owning everything is what is important to long term success and being less reliant on factors outside of your control
