Product 1: Insight Pro Laser Scanner

  • line laser that sweeps a blue green (448nm) laser across the scene and triangulates a dense 3D point cloud with a camera.
  • Laser is projected across the scene at a fixed angle. A camera, offset by a known baseline, captures the illuminated line. Then it can calculate the distance based on trigonometry
  •  50-degree laser fan angle. A wider fan angle means the same number of pixels is spread over a larger region, which results in lower density.
  • With a 30° fan angle, those 1000 pixels might cover 50 mm → 20 pixels per mm.

With a 90° fan angle, those 1000 pixels might cover 150 mm → 6.6 pixels per mm

  • 1.5m to 15m
  • Profile rate up to 90 Hz, 2048 points per line. Each second, Insight Pro can generate up to: 90 × 2048 ≈ 184,000 3D points.

Product 2: Insight Nano and Nano XR

  • Points per line/sample: 2064 at 35hz
  • Used for tight spaces
  • 36m – 2.5m
  • 1000m depth rating
  • Integrated actuator: no external pan-tilt required

Along-track spacing = vehicle speed / profile speed

Product 3: Discovery Vision System (video + stills + stereo (sometimes) + edge computes)

Config 1: Single camera (300m)

Config 2: Stereo to create a 3D map (4000m Depths)

Product 4:  Observer and Nova (Images Only)

Product 5:  AUV Payload

Integrate customized cameras, lighting and laser scanners to existing AUVs.

Recon (4k Camera)

Recon LS

Product 6:  ROV Skids

Both are neutrally buoyant: In seawater, the skid’s weight equals its buoyant force (Archimedes), so its apparent weight ≈ 0 N.

How do you design it to be neutrally buoyant?
